Pruning
The Tree Pruning
Tree pruning (also called trimming) consists of removing the branches of a tree to structure it, allow it to grow safely in an urban environment and ensure healthy growth throughout its life.
There are different pruning techniques to meet your needs.
Sanitary
Used to remove harmful branches from a tree, to heal it or to improve its health.
Clarification
Used to re-structure a tree in order to let the sun through. Often used on land with swimming pools or gardens.
Raising
Used to clear the lower branches of the tree, allowing better access and a clear effect for the property.
Formation
Used on the youngest trees. Allows healthy growth without harmful structural defects while respecting the natural shape of the tree.
Clearance
Used to re-structure a tree when it harms surrounding structures such as buildings, electrical wires, etc.
Topping
Used only in case of extreme need, it reduces the height of a tree but can cause it to die off. Usually other more efficient techniques will be used.
